Triaging a backlink profile
Three numbers tell you almost everything about a profile's health: referring-domain growth rate, anchor-text balance and toxic-link share. Triage in that order.
- Healthy growth = +1% to +5% referring domains month over month
- Anchor balance = under 5% exact-match for non-brand, otherwise spam risk
- Toxic share = under 2% of referring domains flagged toxic by spam score
Lost-link alerts and recovery playbooks
Lost links are flagged within 7 days of disappearing. Each lost link comes with a one-page recovery playbook: the original anchor, the linking page's contact details (when public) and a suggested outreach template.
- Recovery is fastest in the first 14 days, after that the page often drops the link permanently
- Common causes: site migration, page deletion, link section removed

Competitor link gap, where they get links you do not
Pick up to 4 competitors and Workexe surfaces the referring domains that link to them but not to you. Filter by Authority Score so you only chase links that are worth the outreach effort.
