Usage Limits and Quotas, How They Reset, Stack and Apply

Workexe limits are enforced per workspace, reset monthly on your renewal date, and most can be expanded with add-ons or a plan upgrade. No surprise overage charges.

Limit categories

Four core limit types. Each behaves slightly differently around resets and overages.

  • Tracked keywords, hard cap, blocks adding more when hit
  • Audited URLs per project, soft cap, audit pauses at limit
  • Exports per month, hard cap, queued until reset on Free/Starter
  • Team seats, hard cap, blocks new invitations when hit

Reset cycle

All monthly limits reset on your renewal date (1st of month for legacy accounts, your sign-up date for newer accounts).

  • Visible in Settings > Billing > Usage with countdown
  • Daily limits (e.g. rank refresh) reset at 00:00 UTC
  • Unused quota does NOT roll over
  • Manual refreshes have a separate per-day limit

Add-ons for extra capacity

Buy targeted add-ons without upgrading the whole plan. Cheaper if you only need one resource.

  • +500 tracked keywords, $19/mo
  • +1 project, $9/mo
  • +10,000 audit URLs/project, $15/mo
  • +5 team seats, $25/mo

What happens at the limit

Workexe never overcharges. Hitting a limit shows a clear in-app warning with upgrade and add-on options.

  • Hard cap, action blocked + banner shows nearest fix
  • Soft cap, action queued or paused, can resume after upgrade
  • Email warning at 80% and 100% usage
  • All historical data preserved regardless of current usage
